Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress who is best recognized for her roles in the films Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hai Koun, and Beta Saajan. In the 1980s the actress began her acting career and became famous for her role as Tezaab in which she appeared with the veteran actor Anil Kapooor. The next film she appeared in was Dil where she starred alongside Aamir. Early on, as a girl growing up in Mumbai's middle-class, she began to learn how to dance. She started acting when an infant and was struggling for a few years as the majority of her first film projects were unsuccessful. The actress gained fame and was one of the top film actresses. In the aftermath of her wedding, she took a absence from acting until she returned. She played a major role in Gulaab Gang, a film about women's struggles in India. Dixit is nominated to win the fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she won eight. Padma Shri was awarded to her, which is India's fourth highest civil honor. Also, she is well acknowledged for her work in the field of charity.
